Careers at VMI

Kit Room InternshipPosted: 04 Jul 2017

Job Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic runners to join our camera floor on a 3-month internship programme with the opportunity to assist on shoots, learn to use the latest equipment and get some practical work experience. A great work ethic and sense of humour is essential along with a pleasant personality and a willingness to work hard and get on in a team. VMI are offering structured 3-month internships on an ongoing basis. VMI are now offering 8 x 3-month internships per year, so apply any time. You will work on the camera floor receiving experience of all of the new equipment and will receive support and training on the job, as well as have the opportunity of attending VMI training courses. We were asked recently whether there was an opportunity to join the VMI team after completing a 3-month internship, to which I replied: You have watched The Apprentice, I’m sure? Your best approach is to consider this as a 9 week job interview, since at least half of the camera floor team were once Interns… There are no promises made should an opportunity present itself for a job opening at VMI and you have impressed us in your internship period, then there is a real possibility that you will be considered and certainly much more than if we don't know you at all. Expenses paid only.
