Highly acclaimed Miller Compass 12 fluid head (10kg payload) with ultra light Solo 75 3-Stage Carbon Fibre Tripod suited for DSLR to C300/FS-7 cameras.

Features include selectable smooth pan/tilt drags, illuminated bubble level, concentric self adjusting leg locks, light and high strength telescopic tubing and minimum travel length.

The key defining characteristic of the Miller Compass 12 is its extreme lightness and portability whilst retaining a surprising amount of rigidity which is unexpected in a tripod of this weight.

Also unusually, VMI has spec'd these tripods with an accessory mounting block with 1/4" and 3/8" thread fittings to easily mount peripherals such as external recorders and monitors to the tripod, rather than the camera for ease and convenience.

Features:

  • Three selectable positions of drag plus a zero position
  • Four selectable positions of counterbalance for payloads between 2-10 kg
  • Quick release sliding camera plate with 60mm travel
  • Illuminated bubble level
  • 75mm Ball levelling
  • Ultra light Solo DV 2-Stage Carbon Fibre tripod
  • 3 Position Leg angle locks for a height range 234-1614 mm
  • Spikes with wind down rubber feet
