Easyrig Vario 5 Women’s/Flowcine Serene/Gimbal Flex Vest (cameras 5-17kg/30-55 lb)

This features an Easyrig jacket anatomically designed for the female form with a modified vest featuring a reinforced upper chest and larger padded belt for extra comfort.   Walking produces and up and down movement which the viewer becomes aware of when the camera movements are damped, so the serene arm was developed.  This system features the Easyrig Vario 5 with Flowcine attachment to be able to support a 5-17kg payload capacity with an adjustment to vary the strength of support and the introduction of the Serene arm, introduces additional length to the arm, which gives a little more space which is useful when using Gimbals.

In common with all Easyrig systems, This system spreads the weight onto the operator’s body using a a body harness which is especially useful with today’s configurable and modular camera systems, the extension arm makes it more suitable for gimbal type productions and the addition of the Flowcine attachment dampens walking movement.

Gimbals are heavy and walking produces a noticable motion which is hard to avoid, so the combination of the Easyrig and Flowcine Serene helps both to support the camera and avoid the motion “walking” movement in your shot.  The FlowCine Serene arm attached to an EasyRig and introduces vertical dampening to the system to give a smoother shot.  Another benefit is that it also throws the pulley forward, which is very helpful when trying to film with a camera out in front of you.

One other advantage of the Flowcine system is that it also stabilises side to side errors in the same scenarios by counter pivoting around it’s center axis. At the same time you have full use of the Easyrig cord extension that will allow you to go from high to low mode while at the same time the Serene will take care of the vertical and side to side stabilisation adding two more stabilised axis to your existing system.  In short, when walking or running with a gimbal, then this combination makes your shots silky-smooth.
