24" Reference Grade 4K HD/HDMI Monitor DP-V2410 with HDR and REC2020 mode, multi-format inputs HDMI/3G/Dual-link HD-SDI, 2000:1 contrast ratio, built-in debayer, 24V power input and reference grade images. It is also capable of being used in optional 'live grade' mode for on-set grading capability.
HDR Mode (High Dynamic Range)
HDR mode extends the dynamic range of contrast to be displayed MUCH more than existing REC.709 standard. It allows both extreme highlights and shadow detail of scenes to be seen at the same time, together with rich mid tones, for a more natural and realistic image and makes the highlights 'jump out'.
24" 4K Reference Grade Display
This is a reference grade, grade 1 monitor which is self calibrating, so the panel will correct any changes in colour and brightness which occur through age and use.
2000:1 Contrast Ratio
Really, this needs to be seen to be believed but the high contrast panel with HDR (High Dynamic Range) combine to achieve accurate reproduction of colour, shadow detail and highlights and achieve a high contrast ratio of 2000:1 or more.
Shooting RAW from Cinema EOS cameras usually requires a time consuimg debayering process within the post production software to give pleasing colours.
Full on-set Monitoring Functions
Full 4k on-set monitoring tools include a Waveform Monitor and Vectorscope and support for multiple 3D/1D-LUTs for convenient monitoring and representation of a particular look.
Focusing can be checked at a glance with a peaking function or use the Audio Level Meter function to display audio signal levels with up to eight channels.
A Frame Hold feature pauses the image for checking and enables you to save it as an image file to USB memory, using the Capture function.
Multiple Connection Options
High Bandwidth 4K HDMI, quad BNC (3G/HD-SDI) and also 6G input permitting transmission of 4K (up to 60p) via a single cable.
24V Portable Powering too
As a portable monitoring system, this 4K display is also powerable by external 24V battery power.
At 12kg (without case), it is also surprisingly light and portable, given its functionality and performance.
