Lens Projection

VMI have a dedicated lens projection room equipped with a Chrosziel Full Frame lens projector and EF, B4 and PL mounts, to enable lenses to be accurately projected and check their focus scaling in a controlled environment.

Lenses with any of the above native mounts can be projected in order to check the accuracy of their focus scales, and to check for any other visibly obvious errors in their optical performance.

In conjunction with this, we have the Denz Laser depth test gauge, which allows us to accurately determine the focal depth of any PL mounted camera. Additionally, we have a conventional collimator, allowing us to test the collimation of a complete system, as well as the individual components.
