The Majority of VMI’s Vehicle Fleet is EV/EV Hybrid

VMI’s initial net zero plan written in 2021 aimed for VMI’s entire diesel vehicle fleet to totally migrate to EVs by 2025, but technological limitations on payload and range made this impractical to achieve.

However, the vast majority of VMI’s vehicle fleet became EV/EV Hybrid by Nov 24 and we estimate that our carbon emissions from diesel will reduce in 2025 by more than 60%, compared with our 2021 base year.

Here is Miles on a cold January morning about to depart in his EV Hybrid van with a full charge to make a central London circuit. He informed me that he does not expect to use any petrol today and since our electric is from 100% solar/renewable sources, that makes another zero emissions day for VMI!
