VMI launched its dedicated PTZ division in summer 2025, yet many people still don’t realise that blended shoots can feature both full size cinema cameras working with PTZ cameras, to make significant crew and cost savings, whilst maintaining high production values.

As a result, we continue to look for pioneering productions to help showcase this exciting new technology and to support this, we’re offering an 80% discount on full multicamera PTZ hire packages for a limited number of pilot shoots*.

Each package will include everything that you will need for a multi-camera production including full-size cinema cameras, PTZ cameras, monitoring, lenses, and grip equipment. We can also connect you with trusted freelancers to ensure a smooth hassle-free shoot.

Before filming, your team will receive hands-on training at VMI with experienced crew, to give you the confidence to get the very best from this exciting tech.

We’re inviting productions scheduled between now and the end of 2025 to apply as pilot projects and benefit from this heavily subsidised hire opportunity.

* Qualification for Pilot Productions:

• Discount excludes transport and consumables.
• At least one VMI-certified freelancer must be booked and paid for by the production.
