Cooke SF 2x Anamorphic/i T2.3 Prime set (32-100mm/T2.3)

Cooke went one step further when creating the Anamorphic/i SF lenses which are specially manufactured with a coating that allows for even more creative options. The “SF” stands for Special Flair because they allow you to kick the flares, bokeh and other aberrations into new visual territory.

The Anamorphic /i lenses offer superb optical and mechanical performance. Distortion, veiling glare, flares, and all aberrations are controlled at all apertures over the whole field of view. Like all Cooke S4/i, 5/i and miniS4/i prime lenses, the cam focus mechanism allows for smooth focus adjustments. Modular construction increases ease of maintenance and serviceability.

Further VMI Compatibility Tests

In tests, we have put the widest Cooke anamorphic (32mm) on an Alexa 4:3 and it doesn’t vignette with either the ARRI LMB 15 or the ARRI LMB-25 clip-on matte boxes.
It doesn’t vignette with the x2 PL extenders either.
