Diversity receivers mean that each receiver actually incorporates 2 x receivers, each at 90 degrees from each other with a switchover circuit which changes the channel received several times per second for ultra-reliable reception.

All components, bodypack transmitter, handheld microphone, plug-on transmitter, portable receiver and tuner unit – are housed in compact, light weight and extremely robust metal chassis, allowing them to withstand the often harsh operational environments experienced during field use.

The UWP-V1, UWP-V2, and UWP-V6 are designed for use with professional camcorders for ENG and EFP applications.

The VMI package includes the UTX-B2 beltpack transmitter, URX-P1 beltpack receiver and Sony ECM-77 tie clip microphone.

We also include a custom bracket to allow 2 x radio mic transfmitters and a single portable light to be mounted on a single hotshoe mount – a regular problem for small crews.

These beltpack units run off 2 x AA batteries each.
