Bristol Lens Workshop – Day 2, 2pm

In partnership with Bristol Film School (Boomsatsuma) and our friends at Bristol Crew, we are hosting 2 events on 21/22 January on LENSES!

We are planning a couple of days where people can come together to get their hands on some kit, have a play and a chat, and catch up with friends and hopefully meet some new faces. And after the turbulent few years we have just gone through, we know that having that sense of community, is essential.

Day 2

We like to do things differently at VMI, so we are once again organising a series of unconventional, comparative lens events that will focus on testing lower cost full-frame lenses – similar to our session that we held last year in London (see video below), just a bit more casual and collaborative in true Bristol spirit!

Our objective is to create a ‘real world’ comparison video by inviting crew members to participate in a shoot event, where they design scenes which they shoot multiple times using different lens sets.

We will host an AM and PM session and numbers will be limited for maximum ‘hands-on’.

This event is free of charge and will be a great opportunity to see these lenses in a practical working situation. Come and have a play and do some filming.

You are welcome to book for one day or both days and attend for as much or little as you like or your schedule allows.
