Sigma 300-800mm f5.6 EX DG HSM Lens ‘Sigmonster’

Sigma native EF mount zoom with enormous 300mm-800mm range.  Owing to the size and weight of this lens, we are offering it with 19mm bar support, so it requires to be used with either extremely lightweight DSLR cameras which can hang off the back, else with cameras which can support a 19mm bars system.  This lens achieves Full Frame coverage throughout its range.

The Sigma 300-800mm f/5.6 EX DG HSM lens covers a huge focal length range from 300mm to the ultra-telephoto focus length of 800mm. By continuously varying the angle of view from 8.2 to 3.1, the lens takes a lot of the footwork out of picture composition.

This lens is perfectly suited to wildlife and sports photographers where a powerful focal length is essential.

Built to Sigmas professional EX standards, this lens is designed to provide superior image and build quality. Two Extraordinary Low Dispersion glass elements reduce chromatic aberration to a minimum and ensure sharp, quality images from the centre to the edge of the frame. In order to attain the highest quality images, the APO lens has been incorporated using special low-dispersion (SLD) glass.

A 46mm filter can be inserted near the rear of the lens, and a circular polarising filter (included) can be used in situ.

This lens accepts both 1.4x and 2x APO EX Tele-Converters, which we are also looking to stock (not yet available).
