Vox Box Pro Interview/Prompter kit (140mm front)

British made teleprompter device for mounting in front of a camera to facilitate the interviewer seeing the face of the presenter rather than a camera lens, to relax a nervous subject.  Unlike the Eye Direct, this has a universal system for holding a tablet iPad/iPhone of any size (up to 10″ tablet) to act as a prompter loaded with appropriate software.

This is unit is supplied with 15mm bar mount clamp to mount directly to cameras, though be aware that it is 2.2kg in weight, so for safety we also supply it with a light stand for operation.

How it works

The interviewer and subject see each other through the two-way mirror, but the subject is actually looking down the lens, resulting in direct eye contact with the audience.

It relaxes the subject and allows them to deliver powerful stories and credible interviews.

There are no additional cameras, TV screens or technology required.

The Vox Box Pro works will all large cameras including Red/Alexa digital film cameras, full size documentary  cameras (e.g. PDW-F55 camcorders) as well as compact DSLR and large sensor cameras.

Use as an iPad/iPhone/Tablet Prompter.

The Vox Box Pro incorporates a universal phone/table mount (the included adjustable tablet holder will accept any device from a small mobile phone to 10” tablet) to turn this device into an iPad teleprompter too at no additional charge.

In order to use this as a prompter, you will need to supply your own iPad device and download a prompter app like ProPrompter Studio by Bodelin, Inc. https://appsto.re/gb/va2w2.i and you use an iPhone to wirelessly control the speed of the iPad scrolling via Wi-Fi! We also recommend ‘PromptSmart Pro’ (Android/iOS).
